Spring cleaning

 

Its already been quite sometime since the concept and the effort of the weekly table progress track has been encapsulated. The first robot we started was Captain EA 147 days ago. With the average at 64 days in duration. So its time for spring cleaning.

Now what is the objective of SC ?

1. Dropped all robots which not only not performing but not making much progress all this time.
2. Stop and moved the fund from the real accounts which are below par which we are - FXHackedpro, Armageddon and Pukat Hanyut. Forget their performance with demo accounts as we cant see those achievement in real.
3. Lets concentrate on Liteforex broker for real and even for demo accounts. Reduce the number of accounts for other brokers except for XM (administered by Fuad CapFX)
4. Have variety of parameters and funding for our hopefuls and performing robots which are CapEA and Bender.
5. Do some tweaking the robots which I think still has hopes like FXPro 909 which after all has gained 855% in 69 days. There must be something in its perimeters. 

Avengers Assemble - Robots Roll Call

 

Its time to take actions and do some spring cleaning.

The time has arrived to make concrete decisions. If still in doubt then there'll be no end to the endless pursuance for launching. The best decision is to go with some risk and precaution and not to wait till there is non.

Robots with the best track record even though mistakes painstakingly learn in the process
1. Captain EA 
Not back being the leader of the pack while Loki is in disarray.
Cap is making great progress in the Binifit program and is now active again with FuadFX VPS. Not meeting any problem (yet?) with the 200k demo after 62 days with a growth of 42% Expected month growth of 14%.

Robots not performing in in Real account compared when they are in demo
1. FXHackPro
In 13 days struggling at only 0.9% growth with EMP only at 1%. Maybe due to the fact the one in real is version 2.3 whilst the demos are older version. FXP in acct LFD655 is at a fantastic 678% growth in 68 days. Next step is to change the 2.3 version and see how it is performing. As realized, FXPro is being scrutinized the most. There are 2 other demos of it with 26% growth and 42% growth  both after 39 days of running.

2. Armageddon
Robot on real acct not doing too well with only 0.1% growth in 7 days comparing to demo robot of 52% growth after 65days. Possibly drop the real adventure soon.

1. Bender
Now achieving 9% growth in Real after only 13 days with expected EPM at 15%. Now see if there is any peculiarities here.

Potential Robot still with hopes to trade real
1. Al Fatih
AF was quite good when in the real before it bombed because of miscalculation in lots. Its demo on ECN recommended trading was also good before the broker (not liteforex) shut down the account due to expiry date reached. The result was good but we cant know much now that the data is stalled. The good thing about it is that its only running on EU 1min and active too. With a bigger funding the risk and reward can be adjusted by modifying the lot size. It is on Martingle. And just like Captain we just need to have big funding and it should be OK? 
With the recommended size that is 30,000 on 1.0 lot, now we are doing 10,000 at 0.3. This is not ECN (as it is one of the requirement). We'll see how it behave. If there is any bugs like Pukat Hanyut, the robot AlFatih is a gem.

2. Loki
An old timer who was one the front runner before stumbling. Now under the microscope trading with a big account (100k demo) with 1.4 martingle ratio with many major pairs on 5 min. Slow growth at only 2% in 12 days with 4% EPM. However, the veteran acct of Loki of 73days trading with only starting from 9k now with 130% growth and 36% EPM. So its still remain a mystery.

3. Budak Ubat.
This was a spoiler for some of the real trades thinking that it can turn the table around with its fantastic performance in demo. Now its performing well thou slow with 100k fund 1% growth in 12 days 2% EPM. Its control is very simple by adjusting the risk of trades. Now is in the safe mode and may increase the risk further to improve the results. The only thing is for it not to show any unwanted traits which is having big fixed SL.

4. HnkDong
As suspected this may be a clone of Loki but still worth monitoring. It busted its account which was not big enough. With its current parameters now a commendable effort with 30% growth in 26 days with 23% EPM. There is something in it worth analysing.

Thats for now. In next post, we will list those robots which we may as well get away with.

Bad Robot Pukat Hanyut

 Its sad to inform of a discovery of another bad robot which is the local Pukat Hanyut.

Why this is a Bad Robot

1. It opens very big lots which make no sense at all. One is a huge 21.0 and the other one 7.0 whilst other are manageable and well contained. This is an act of recklessness.

2. It has SL and the huge losses was caused by this the price hitting the stop losses.

So its not a good or a reliable robot. Good ones dont have to wait for the price to hit SL before closing. So as of immediate effect PH is dropped and all trade activity is removed.

Verdict - it work on my smartphone nicely but not on the i7 netbook. BTW the netbook has problem working with Google Drive.
Hosting it on Yandex is better (at least for this i7 nb) as it can play with an option to install Yandex software and even download the mp3 file to the computer. This will set the outcome.

1. Automatx - Only 5 days of demo but now targetting 39% EMP 9.7% P/L Important thing is it control its RPL superbly. Just hanging on till 15 days parameter. No matter, it could be just a hoax like most other robots but it could also be a gem. Just have to wait and see.

We say goodbye to GTrade

 

After 41 days of service ending at 4% Exp Mth Profit % with 9% Increase in Profit. Its time to say goodbye to Robot GTrade one of the safest robot around. Its just that the PL% is too slow and perhaps too careful.
You'll be replaced with Robot Armageddon an 18% EMP% performer. Not really that careful like you but active enough to maybe deliver what is required. And for now just trading on 1 pair i.e EU with reduce booster of 1.44 from 1.66. If it perform ok in days to come 3 more pairs will be traded ie GU, UJ and Au. All on 15min. After all 58 days trading in demo is long enough to either promoted or sacked.

Goodbye G Trade. You are never a failure just a slower. Thank you for your service.

UJ Rising now

 At the time of this entry, UJ is rising like anything, about 180+ pips rise today, even that is an understatement. This is due to some news that came out not favouring the currency and giving strength to US Dollar.

The main account of CapEA is under attack. With some prayers that it could push the currency pair down soon. Still got a lot of Equity reserved but hope the rise will demise soon.

 These will make its way during this week 46

1. Bender
A good performer of 33% but on demo with 46 days of testing.

2. Armageddon
Performing well at 17% expected profit per month after 50 days but on demo test.

3. Forex Hacked Pro ver 2.3
FHP has been tested with a few demo accounts because it was that good with 1 account in particular. Thou the other demo test accts prove to be profiting, it did not repeat the success of that 1 FXH account. Just got hold of ver 2.3 with explanations. There was one account which met a Margin Call. Seem that FHP (the older version perhaps) behave badly when the market is trending and this version has that option of making it during trending. So will adopt that.
Also it seem that the robot went dead just like we noticed with Al Fatih, perhaps the pirated ones has an expiry date of sort. This will be looked into.

 These robots will be on rest with immediate effect.

For the record, they were never loses, just that their profits were not big enough. They have been tested to be profitable with a real Liteforex accts and did not poses any dangers of trading. 

1. FXStabilizer Only 1 % profit after 50 days

2. G Trade 4% profit from its start last 35 days

While these were good when they are high strung but due to some miss calculation of parameters, fell to their knees. Having a sizeable balance are requirement which must not be ignored.

1. Al Fatih - how easy to trade with only 1 pair which is EU on 1 min. Downfall when the lot was mistakenly keyed as 0.1 instead of 0.01. Sustaining even on a small 800 cts balance with 0.03 lot. Out for now but will be called in the near future.

2. Jacaranda - Realized that it has a SL/TP parameters. Once the SL is hit it will be an enormous lost. Maybe its not that smart to use Jaca as a regular robot.

3. Loki - has always been a potential robot along with Captain EA. Its multiple factor of 1.66 is a bit too high especially when at 20 levels. Like Al Fatih, Loki is not forgotten.

4. Armor - Just a robot which did not perform that well when on Real account.

The terror in sending kids to a men's war

 Yesterday it was decided that some of the real account need a boost. This I saw in 2 very young robots by the name of Budak Ubat and HonkDyong. Even the name suggest of how "fun" they are. Why not as the 2 days demo showed that they are aggressive and can bring results and excitement against the old timers.

So beside having their own demo accounts they were place to help AlFatih (Budak Ubat) and Armor (HD) along with BNP. The horror for today, the boys brought these accounts to their knees ! So thats the karma of not following the slow and safe SOP of testing the robots first. 

But not to give on these boys as they are boys. HD is actually a clone of Loki when logically when Loki fell so did HD ! So with the hope that I finally knew how to control and safeguard Loki i could also do the same with HD. Need em because they are aggressive scalpers. Only if i can unlock and tame their moves, they will show me the money.

Admist, the volatility of the USD today, Cap EA demo 200k even CapEALF managed to hold their position well. 

But today many of the robots have high negative RPL except for Jaca, PHanyut,Jabrix, Loki(DT),bnp, FapTurboflash(a +RPL),FXStabilizer(a +260), CapEARealLF, CapEARealXM and Waygrow.

RPL for FxHackedPro showed a significant spike. 

Loki Fell defeated by Margin Call

 Thats what you get for not knowing your robot well enough. But now I know.

Loki real in trouble

 Its is now the situation. I have added the lot increment of its opening trades mechanism and it is doing some unbelievable large lots with its RPL now above -2k. But that i got to believe that it will turn the game around as what Loki LF demo had done with the same amount of balance. But as experience shows, Loki is not mend for FBS as it hit Margin Call. Well lets hope the story ends great.

Just like Capt EA , it will not be a problem if the balance is high enough to sustain any hits like 200k Capt EA, which do perform according to how much money it holds.

Captain EA LF Real out of trouble

 It was quite a number of days when this was the headline. The 8k cts injected into the account do seem to help as at times it hits above -10k in RPL. But now its back with minimum RPL but with a -500 less in balance. This must be the collateral damage that the robot took which is OK.

So the 8k is moved back to Jacaranda account who had a Margin Call with merely 2.4k running. On paper Jacaranda did not loose anything its just lost what it profited. So with the 8k back, hopefully it can turn the boat around.

With a little help from 2 young friends

 2 new robots on test are showing impressive results. They are HongDyong and Budak Ubat. One thing you cant miss is how fast they open trades. Then how hard working they are in opening and closing trades. They close with wins ! At least thats how they showed in just 1 day.

2 real robots which are slow and too careful are Al Fatih and Armor. BNP robot who is helping armor does not show any true results. So as of now, HongDyong is helping Armor/BNP. Budak Ubat is helping Al Fatih. 

Straight away into the real world its opening trades with the same excitement as its demo platform. So lets see how the story will unfold.

Looking for the right robot/s

 1. Of course it makes money

2. Makes money with minimal risk. No big negative RPL

3. Balance always going in the right direction (increasing) thou small but its getting there. As balance which remains constant for sometime shows the robot is doing hedging of somekind.

4. Put in a sizeable amount of money as balance/fund and let it do its job for your know it will not get into trouble such as bloated RPL which are bound to hit Margin Call anytime.

But the above may not apply to Cap EA which I have confidence in. Its running negative RPl may be deep but with the right amount of balance/fund it can always turn it around with a profit.

CapEA - its all got to do with what you got and how you manage

 Despite the hiccups in CapEA Real, business as usual for XMReal and Cap2000k.

CapXMReal has stopped trading the EJ with 0 RPL at the moment whilst Cap200k is at 8.7k -RPL only with its 4 pairs and big funding. Thing is, if you got the money, CapEA is no worries. CapEA200k is now above 20% profit from start.

The drama goes on !👹

Slow earning robots can be a giver

 This is what happen to Jacaranda. Thou its profit from start is OK at 24%, robots like it which do not have problems with big running -RPL may not need that much of a funding either. So today Jaca become the saviour for CapEA by transfering 8k cents to it and 2k cents to Armor/BNP. Now its trading on 2.4k only !

The other 2 which fit this category, having 20% profit from start are PHanyut and Loki(control). But doubt on Loki because it can run into RPL trouble at times.

The other sure slow burner is Stabilizer small 3% in from the start profit. But have to make sure that these robots dont have RPL problem to even thinking of invoking this strategy.

It can be considered as a "loan" as when the problem subsided, the amount can be put back to the respective accounts.

Ucd and also EJ are taking a beating in CapEA

 Yes it is happening as this is being reporting. The real LF CalEA is over 6,700 cts negative with Ucd going down and EJ going up. 

This evening had pumped in 8k cts into the account and at that time it was only at 2.5k cts negative and EJ crisis had not even started. So just now had limited EJ to stop selling holding at 9 trades only and Buy alos limit to 9, if it decide to pursue.

DejaVu. Lets hope CapEA would recover as it did sometimes previously.

Modification to fxv spreadsheets

 1. The last data extraction for the week will be Sat morning or anytime after the market had closed during the weekend. Before this, the DataExtraction on Monday morning (before market open) is only for datas changes during the few hours before the market closed the lasst weekdays which is unproductive. Now the DE for Saturday will be the same if it is extracted on Monday morning (before market opens). Letrs name the first data Extraction as "Monday Start"

2. Top of the SS will be summary of daily Real accounts performance this can show the difference within about 24 hours.

3. Any notes on what was done (if any) to the account will be type on the furthest right after the Day+1 column.

The case with Loki

 

Loki has always been my favorite and great potential as a Forex robot. Why ? It only trades the EU pair on the 1 min time frame. But that impression was marred when during one of the test it made unexpected margin call. On investigation perhaps the problem was 1. Low funding 2. Bigger lots trading.

Odd thing was another Loki demo account did not faced such  issue and continue to strive. So not wanting to just give up hope, Loki was again tested with the same account with 20k funding. Everything went smooth sailing to the point where a decision was made to upgrade Loki to real account replacing Apex Scalper which was not fairing well at all. And in a matter of 5 days Loki turned the account from a -3% losing to +21.3% profit from start !

But then this morning the unexpected had happened,the  demo test loki on 20k account met its demise vanishing its 22k funding (2k profit) to a puny 522cts a loss profit of -99.7% !Another margin call ! Luckily it was a demo account (thats what it is for anyway). Whereelse the other surviving Loki demo account has no effect holding to its 47% profit in 26 days.

Taking this alert, I suspended all trading in the Real Loki until a thorough post mortem is carried out. I hope this can be resolved and Loki can be made great again.

The possible explanation which is GOOD in all counts, the defunct Loki was on FBS broker (same one with the previous MC). Where else the successful or surviving ones Real or demo were on LiteForex ! I do hope the investigation will reveal this and the red flag on Loki removed. If this is done,Loki will be the star Avenger.

 Out of the blue a local robot was created. 

This is after intensive readings on Hedging trading. Its no brainer and the robot was created even with a free version of FXDreema. It open trades with 10pips TP both direction and also pending orders on the opposite directions 10 pips apart. It will open new trades (order and opposite pending orders) when a trade hit TPs. Also it will open extra pending orders if there are no pending orders available.

Logistics of trades are expected to be messy with lots of trades around. End of the day, either close all trades (running and pending) and start afresh.

Dont know how successful or failure it can be or the other way around. Its OK not much hope to be given but 2 accts both demos are reserved to see how it will perform.

The pending orders will close after a certain duration 15m (POs opened when there is no more POs around) and 30m(OPs opened with actual trades)
This will ensure that PO's are not that far off from where the price is. Downside too many closed pending orders in history especially when trading with many pairs.

This robot was stumbled upon during the scouting of robots on Youtube.

It is sold quite at a high price at about $499 or so but ..as always..found it for free somewhere else.

So letting it run on one of the platforms. Why its semi auto as it cant close (No SL) but it has TPs. Anyway that can modified externally with fxDreema (creating stop loss). But lets see how good it is. Perhaps taking advantage of the hedging maneuver ? Well still dont know yet.

Put it on the 1min chart.Whether its buying or selling decision is good enough.

If its is a rock star will confirm it by tomorrow.

Robots desired characteristics

1. Overall increase in daily profits

2. Trade frequently

3. Money management can be controlled - fixed lots or risk

4. Fast in and out trades

5. Keeping RPL to the lowest most of the time

6. Not holding on to too many trades

7. Do not open trades against the trend

8.  Can trade with low balance of fund

9. Ample explaination on how it works either from a provided manual or good introduction

10.  Comprehensive inputs parameters where the robot can be well controlled.

Its rare or no possibility to see one with all of em. But those with just some yet performing is good enough in my list

A No No in Platform VPS Management

 Over the weekend there was an incident which taught a lesson.

It is necessary that all platforms are to be shut down for sometime over the weekend when the market is at rest. This is to zerorised the "buffer"? thats accumulated over the days on all platforms. When this occur it tends to make the account too slow to bear.

But here is the big No No... DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE PLATFORM FOLDER !

This was done purposely to identify which folder sequence and where it they are linked to.Big problem is when this is done all the platforms IDs are wiped off ! including the account number, chart set ups, inserted robots and indicators etc all the lots. The easiest way to restore them back is to log in the account details for each and every one. Then insert back all the robots and indicators.

Existing unsolved issues will be :-
1.The existing trades and pending orders are linked to previous trade setups which relate to the id nos.
2. Which charts that are active and what time frame there are in are pertinent as it would effect the works of the robots if they are not the same before the changes.

So in future, just bear the above in mind. You can change changes you want to make. But at least keep it to the minimum and be prepared to what it will come to.

 

Capt EA new trial

 As of today, a new fxtm demo cents account was launched of 200,000cts. on VPS Frankfurt.
In in is Capt EA with 4 popular pairs of EU,EJ,UCd and UJ.
All settings are default with the starting lot to be 0.01.
The start balance may be way to be big but its worth demoing what amount can make CaptEA immortal (if its possible)
In the case it is, I would not expect fantastic progress just proportionately if CEA was on a optimum funding perhaps it was like before the holocaust. But that was an amount 10% of the current one. The amount is to cushion any hellfire which can come.

200k cts is equivalent to $2k real. So if the results are favourable we could adopt that strategy.

The Trusted Potentials

There are many robots that have been tested. Many of them you just simply cant be trusted - that they lost even before the fighting begins. So fo those, we removed and we moved on to others. Some making the  best but still you have doubt that at one point of time, when you believe them fully they betrayed and hit you the most. 

But then you cant decide on things you have no full understanding of. They may make horrible decision but those are govern by parameters which you have control on. Once you mastered that you will on top of your world.

Thorough the tests, robots that are still impressing but have failed and yet there is still hope to make them better by adjusting them or the environment they are in. These are them:

2. Loki
3. Al Fatih

Captain EA XM VPS manage extended

 Captain EA admin FuadFX telegramed me last night informing that the 3 mths free VPS is reached. I was at a cross road whether to renew or manage on my own. Even if the progression is small with XM but it is progressing all right. Even the LFR Captain even running on 1 EJ alone could not match proportionately on what the XM is achieving.

If I decided to try then renew at a later date, I would have to pay both robot and vps again. Capt would cost the normal RM300 not RM200 that i gotten before. The rental fee is small at only RM150 for 6 months.

So I decided to renew and see how it goes. Admin claimed that the biggest account they are managing is $2k or 10x of mine.

However noticed that the robot did not open trades from last night. So informed Admin to rectify the situation. 

Also on Captain EA, I have not goned deeper into its input parameters and had taken it is as it is. It looks detailed and well control. And since I was happy with its result before (on Real Lite Forex), I will go deep and try it many times on demo until I get the hold of how to control CEA. Yup thats the mission.

The one that escape the radar - Al Fatih

  

While we were busy succesfully correcting   Meia4 today and give a lease of life to AlFatih, he was the one that fell by hitting Margin calls.

Yes it happened and his acct had reduced to only about 3k from a good start of 10.5k. Why Al Fatih was succesful before because he was with a 70k demo account. Even the parameters warned of at least 30k ecn account. Fortunately we have a demo AF account with 30k ecn just to see its performance.

So I have reduced its lot from 0.1 to 0.01. Make sense as 0.1 is for 30k and 0.01 for 3k. I hope it does not effects AF performance in the future.

So that is lesson learned. Some robots are very sensitive on the equity where AF is one of them. If a demo of 10k was tested, it may tell a different story. AF is still a star performer lets see if he can improve the present to what was before. 

Not to simply dropped rather than post mortem understand the problem and give another chance.

The fight with Meia4

  

Meia4 was one of our robots that came from file and ranks. Having meeting the 2 upgraded parameters well and given the mandate to fight the forex market for real. For a start like every other robot she was given 10,000 cts to trade on liteforex.

What I like about Meia is how equipped she was with good display and the ability to open other pairs while attch to only 1 chart. Obviously she is from Russia as the choice for the display was either English or Russia. The display was nice and have controls too. It come with a complete manual which would have taken time to learn and understand.

Anyway, the doubt in Meia was not that shes not making money but her RPL was always high and negative most of the time. She open (or layering) many trades but that can be control from her input parameters.

Then at last week her -RPL had grown to -4,000cts which is bad considering the equity is just 10k. On the other hand her account had increased to 12k and increase of 2k for 10k account in a short matter of time. Surely thought that she would hit Margin Call anytime. The over the weekend the recovery team suggest to save the situation Meia was in that is to pump more money. Luckily Al Fatih account was not used and we transfered 9,500cts to Meia making here balance to increase to 19,500 cts   

Come Monday, and the alarm was again sounded where Meia -RPL had gone to -10k ! Something must be done fast to save the account rather than leaving Meia to handle herself which she could not.

She had open so many trades that then were against the trend due to a significant US news in the morning. So any pairs with USD had gone ballistic in the opposite directions. Her lots are not martingle for sure but plenty basing on distance of trade from one another. 

An extraction team was sent in to salvage the trades, no matter what it takes - minimize the losses.

1. The furthest trades from the current price are closed.
2. Any trades that are in profit are closed.

The break came at about 1am when we saw some form of retracing in the pairs. The by rough calculation we thought that we can get out of the situation with some losses which was thought OK. So manually every trade was closed one by one until it was over. Ironically we did not make losses but some small 500k or so profit ! 

More reports in tomorrow daily progress update. Its not that Meia is hopeless she has her strength all right. But in future when we found the means to control her tendencies, she'll be OK and profitable. As for now give Meia a rest for a while.

Roulette Trading fascination

 

Roulette Trading has been fascinating me of late. As we all know, the success is not entirely on its strategy but most importantly of all its money management.

As of this morning 3 strains of local hero Roulette are on the playing fields.

The longest one has been up on VPS frankfurt acct lfd136 since last 12 days with and E%M of 2% only which is acceptable. You see it makes really big and make up all previous small losses. But its formula is quite "wide" with TP and SL of 25pips and roulette sequence of 5. So its quite slow in every sense of the word.

The other 2 were included only this morning on the Desktop lfd467 and 434. The first with 13SL and 10TP and basing on candle close position against emas14 line on 4 time frames 1m,5m,15m and 1hr. Hopefully it would be fast closure. This one is the same in money management with the VPS frankfurt where it has 3 cycles to complete before stopping. But still unless you get 5 wins in a row, you are going see strings of losses. Just one win would make up of the losses. I think 1 full win cycle can breakeven about 33 losses ?

The last one is without the extra cycles but still adopting the 5 wins per cycle. And its base on ADX in the 4 time frames.

All for all, these are all done as the subscription of Fxdreema ends today. Hopefully, I have prepared the robots correctly and any ammendments can still be done on the MM or SLTP level. Or even adjusting the indicators parameters.

Now back to strains of Roullete. Lets look the proposed strain of 8 trades per cycle. That maybe too long but lets look at the benefits.

  

Up there will be how the MM looks like. Let be explained
1. There are 4 trades sequence making up 1 cycle.
2. Each trade if success increase lot by 1. If lost back to 1.
3. The TP here is of 10 but it can be of any value pips (recommended higher than 10 pips). Its SL should also be the same value.
4. As shown losses occur in the first 2 sequence trade only with accumulative of -1 only. Meaning that if a trade is lost in the 1st sequence you loose -1 even in the 2nd seq it is also -1. But losing in the 3rd its already Breakeven (no cost). The beauty is that losing after that are profit (for the cycle) !
5. If it ended with a 8 winning trades sequence it is 450% more than if it to be traded on the same lot winning 8 times in a row. At 7 its 286%. Even winning at 4 sequence its 67% better ! Of course at 3 sequence it is breakeven.

So this is exciting and to be included into the trading fraternity.

Plus and Minus

 

Welcoming a new week, these are some current changes taking effect

1. 9.5kcts added to Meia4 to cushion its current high -RPL 5kcts. Remember that beside from putting itself into this worrying situation, it has after all increase balance to 2k

2. The 9.5kcts real was transfered from lfr758 account occupied by Al Fatih leaving only 0.5kcts in balance. As for the that Al Fatih is now on freeze and will be activated when extra fund is inputted. For the record, whether Al Fatih have open any trades since its upgrade is unknown until its trading record past history is checked.

3. Loki fbd initial funding of 20kcts is restored. This is easy and at no cost as its account is still demo. Must look into why its lfd account Loki2 is not effected although at 10kcts demo.

A few robots will be upgraded this week and a few will also be dropped.

An embarassed silly oversight on Meia4 and Al Fatih

  

Thinking that both robots are identical - Wrong ! Actually they are not its the account that is the same !
So thats why the Balance and RPL were the same.
The messed up occured when they were upgraded to real accounts. The Mt$ account charts were open twice where the first one with Al Fatih and the 2nd one Meia4. The current increase of -RPL is only caused by Meia4. It is not a critical level but after reading the info, it actually required a bigger Deposit than what is running right now.
Maybe Al Fatih simply refuse to open knowing that a foreign robot is operating in the account. Thats what I assume.
So in reality there is a real account without a robot running.
So going forward will put in more money into Meia4 as a precaution avoiding Margin Call. Al Fatih will operate on a new account on its own.

Loki Post Mortem - Giving a 2nd Chance

 

Just like Loki in the Avengers after being badly beaten by Hulk, should he be given a 2nd chance. After the Post Mortem, we decided that a 2nd chance is deserve. BTW it will reveal the secrecy of how layering works which includes Capt EA inner workings too.

Reading the intro to Loki even further reveal certain facts that if address properly will bring the Loki Robot to uncharted heights. BTW, Loki 2 with LF broker demo is still stronger as ever.

1. It works only for 1m EU
2. Works well on Ranging situation (like Capt)
3. Will open trades of the same direction with TP aim at 4 pips only !
4. Which was on default setting - It multiple trades at 1.6
5. Starting lot is 0.1 and with an account of 20k, it spells doom.

So variation we can invoke to make Loki more versatile
1. Reduce lot to 0.01from 0.1 Thou it will be slower and smaller it is safer.
2. Dont do multipler or set at smaller settings and trust its layering technique is good enough

So thats it. I dont have to question what indicators it is using as it has work fine before.

The thing with Meia4 and AlFatih

 

For sure,they are the same thing. Both have profitted substantially today above cts2k profit but now having very big -RPL of over 5k ! with plenty of trades opened. Now my assumption that they worked on 1m EU alone is not accurate. They have many pairs in its observation. Now they are hoping for a retrace in all of them or reaching Margin Call. Their lots are the same at 0.11 more or less and they are not Martigle for sure. But they are working to profit on retracing like good old Capt. But Capt is Martingle bound.

And both are Real $100 per account ! Hoping they both get out of this and close 1 for the other. Meia4 has control dashboard which is good. Only if i can find the manual to go about operating it. That will be great.

Now here some facts. Their EAs parameters are not the same. In fact Al Fatih claim to work on EU 1min but it does not.

How they do ?

 These are some salient points to ponder on the performance of all robots Real and Demo

1. As suspected AlFatih and Meia4 (both now real) works in identical ways. Both performance are expected from their high -RPL of 3k. When and if they recovered one of them must be replaced as they are the same.

2. Loki1 and Loki2 as explained and needs a post mortem for Loki1. Why it effected Loki1so badly while Loki2 remains unaffected. Could be that it runs on different broker ? Answers must be revealed.

3. Both Captain EAs recovered their high -RPL well. XM Captain managed by Captain Admin on their own VPS on XM account performed splendidly by getting $16 (real dollars value) while LFR only managed to break even

4. Real account Jacaranda is now praised for getting E%M at 13% with its sound trade management although it looks slow.

5. Demo Armor with 16% E%M is what we called collect rarely but bigly.It could be a candidate for Real as it has 2 days more in observation.

6. FX Stabilizer barely getting 5% and still be considered for real as it is seen to be stable and well known over the internet.

7. Crazy Scalper will also be considered for Real Account with 1 day observation to go if it keeps holding on to 8%

Loki1 shocking defeat

  

Very shocking to know that Loki1 who was leading very far ahead and to be surely picked as the leader of the pack as of next week had been defeated and banished from oblivion. With a total Balance washout from a starting fund of 20k leaving with only $114 behind is simply beyond comprehension. Even worst than Captain EA LFR, this one was very much unexpected.

However the mystery needs to be solved as Loki2 was simply unaffected mataining its Exp Month % of 34%. A post mortem is to be done to identify if Loki is fit to be a leader or even a fighter. 

Welcome to the real world

 

After passing both parameters duration and % Month, these robots have been selected to join the frontliners making their way in the real world today.
All of them aside from Meia4 have both parameters passed. Meias problem is with her RPL which sometimes can be big but comparatively safe to her account size.

They are placed in a liteforex real cents account of $10k cts ($100) each.
Their placings in the progress report is still the same excpet for their new real account number.
They will not be subjected to any more test in parameters achievement to trade Real.

However if the balance dropped at a certain % (to be decided), they will be pull of from the real world.

How robots are selected to test

 

There are plenty of robots to choose from when it comes to testing. But what are the process taken to do so ?

1. If the robot by itself already reputable and well known on the WWW in the forex arena, then without doubt they are on top priority

2. Look for trading strategies that are not Martingle, Grid or Hedge in nature. Especially favorable will those that scalp

3. Read the reviews look at the charts. Report from Myfxbook and FXBlue are particularly important especially if they are on real accounts. The performance is important

4. Look at the chart, if its making many trades then its good to choose. Some robots may be succesful by making limited trades a day. Just set them aside and choose the one which seem to be hardworking.

5. Like what you see and what its promising eventhough it may not be true or accurate.

Stop Press ! Like army in a trench

 

The robots are like the army in trench. Everyone waiting thier turns to get out. Some may but some dont. Some may die in the trench itself and a few on the battle ground after getting out of the trenches.

So as at 1am here are the current results which may definitely change come tommorow updates.

1.Loki is leaving everybody behind with 134% expected monthly profit ! Yet its still not qualified to go live as Loki 1is only 8 days in action and Loki 2 just 3 days. Its inner workings is good too as its RPL is always a small negative. Loki2 has attained 4% in 3 days. Trading on just the EU pair on 1m TF, its a promising worker.

2. Jacaranda met the citeria to go live meeting both requirements after exceeding 15 days in action today. However its Exp% achievement barely made it at 7%

3. Possibly drop in the near future basing on todays Data capture is GPSF having 24 days in action. Lazy and not making trades. Just 2% EXPMthly. Not good.

4. Local hero Roulette8 is not that bad with 9% E%M. Got less than 2 weeks to tweak it before FXDreema subs premium ends.

New Kids on the Block

 Here are the new kids joining the Desktop LineUps

1. Soft Marti - Replace Scalper EAT
Yes said that we are not going Marti. Not all out anyway. It has the soft word in front just like Captain which did not claim of being a real Marti just a soft Marti and look where that brought us.
So give this robot a chance. Just targeting GU and EU 1h time frame. If it fail, drop is the answer. Simple. 

2. Generic ATLP - replacing Lock Balance
This has many pairs on its target. The porovider even include set ups which he said are succesful.
Using the 15m TF with GU, UCd, UCf and EG being the common pairs. See what it got.

Robots to drop

 

These robots will be drop and replaced soon asthey have the following tendencies

1. Open many orders to the opposite side and waiting for price to retrace to close. In order to do that they have future trades on hold making the account stalling. Boring.

2. Create pending orders which do not hit and so no running trades.

3. Having robot configuration that seem complicated yet we dont have the manual to adjust it.

4. They seem to be profitting and performing better than those that refuse to open or making big losses, but on a small scale and uncertain how their future are with the current trades or stalling situation. They are not yet condemn but take it they are KIVs.

These are (from desktop tests robots)

1. Scalper EA Tuner
Having a big -RPL and had been stalling at a profit figure for a long time. Seem that 1 pair UJ has many orders opened and the robot is waitng for a retrace to take place. Other pairs are 0 trading. The situation would get worse if UJ keep on going short. The small hoding profits of around $200 would be blown off by the -RPL which is currently at -$600 something.

2. Lock Balance
The robot configuration realised to be complicated and need its manual to be operated efficiently. Noted that it has an option either to BUY or SELL implicating that it could be decided manually on that part. Anyway it has been stalling for quite sometime now even at a low profit.

Robots to go real

 These robots already met the criterias to go real for this week

1. Al Fatih 

2. Pukat Hanyut

3. Cap ES XM - already been real for 63 Trading days! in Cap Admin own VPS

While these just need a more observation days before setting them to real. But along the way they may falter and drop. Time will tell.

Time to really fly

 After some time in observation, a robot can either be upgraded to real or dropped. A robot can also be dropped much earlier if it begins to show recklessness and poor performance or simply wont start.

The Parameter to migrate to real account are as follows

1. 15 days of more of observation

2. Expected month % is 8% or above.

There are 2 columns in the daily progress report alerting if any robots making this mark.

The start for a real account will be on a cents account at $100 or 10,000 USC. It broker engaged would be either be Liteforex, FBS or FXTM. All are chosen due to one reasons of the other which will be discussed in future postings.

Roulette 8 Homemade Hero replaces Roulette3

 In the wee morning hours Roulette ver 8.0 replaced R3.

It took sometime to test the running engine. Before this, R3 was running OK getting some profits. So R8 will be a better hero hopefully. Here are the changes made

1. Indicators
Now running on immidiate candle close over orbelow MAe14 line in 5 time frames; 1m,5m,15 and 1 hr. All 4 time frames must concur with the candle current position before a trade is made.

2. TP and SL
Now at 25pips both ways before it was 20pips only

3. Cycles
Now the introduction of cycles rather than trade just fall dead on the 1st cycle. Cycle1 base is 0.01 Lot, Cycle2 0.02 and Cycle3 is at 0.04. Additional cycles would be added if it is the right path to go.

The success of this robot depends on making 5 successive wins where the return would be enormous. Any failure getting to the 5th level would result in 1 trade if calculated on cycle basis.

Its a high order for R8 to carry but so it goes. God speed.

How we rate Robots

 

They come and they go. How do we judge and pick the best ?
Here are some insights

Some definitions first.
a) Start Depo
How much money when the robot is activated with a particular account. The acct may have been around with other robots but when a robot is activated with an account, the start balance is determined. Along the way the amount is changed if there is any deposit (plus) or withdrawal (minus)

b) Balance
The account balance when the data captured is made at any time. 

c) RPL (Running Profit or Loss)
At the time when the balance is captured, any resultant of trades that are running are also noted. If the trade is losing (not yet closed) the figure will be in minus opposite if it/they are winning.

d)Days
How many passing days from the day when the robot was activated on the particular account

Now here are the calculations

1. Nett Different from Start
The Balance is minus from StartDepo amount and added with RPL.
If the figure is positive it means that it is in profit where its current balance is higher than StartDepo even after including RPL. As the RPL could either pull down the figure if the trade/s are losing and upped it if its in positive (profiting)

2. Diff Last
If the figure is positive it means that the NettDiffStart of the current is better(more) than the previous reading

3. DiffLast%
This is DiffLast in terms of %

4. %Day
This how much the robot is making or losing in a day on the average. This also takes into account the No. of days the robot has been activated. The bigger the %Day the more profiting is the robot. Do note that for any robot they may also be days where the %Day could be in minus. But as long as the %Day positive, on the average, it is making profit on the average daily.

5.$ Day
How much is expected in a day of trading. Simply the formulae is [(1)+(c)]/(d).

6. Expt%Mth (Expected Profit% per Month)
Basing on % Day where there are 20 trading in a month. Simply %Day x 20

7. Exp$Mth (Expected Profit in Month)
The formulae ; $Day x 20. How much is shown here not necessary will show the best robot as the acct amount of StartDepo varies. Those with bigger StartDepo will have bigger Exp$Mth even if the % may be smaller. So thats why the following formulae will decide the best Robot.

8Exp$Mth on 10k
The start depo is proportionately increase or reduce as though  taking the StartDepo to be 10k. So the figure that derived and compared will be fair to all. And this will decide the Best Robot there is.

However please note that a longer running robot is better than a new one as it show stability and the result is a better representative what it can achieve.

A success in demo does not necessary mean that it can be the same for a real account

Robots that use Martingle, grid and/or hedge (MGH) will require large Start Depo.

MGH Robot may show impressive result temporarily as its setback will be when it hit a big drawdown.

All robot will have wins and losses. The best one will be when its wins is bigger than its losses. These comparison can takes hours, weeks, months and even years. So what is the best robot still race a lot of questions.

The Race - whos winning?

 As at today here are some promising robots who are currently voted to be in the front lines

1. Loki - this is funny as Loki is the leader of Avengers right now ? Yes its true

2. Roulette 3 - this is homegrown and not yet perfected. Winning purely on money management. The objective is to find the right indicators to execute the trades. Winning will be the bonus

3. Apex - one of the newly recruited robot. Today upfront dont know what will happen in future thou

4. Captain EA XM - so its come to this. Stable enough as its been around the longest and still having the position in the frontliners

5. Meia4 -  Its RPL can be enormous in either direction. But so far so good kindda know where she is going

All the robots above attained above 15% per month estimated profit. Now here is the 2nd liner 

6. Al Fatih - seem to be very hard working but getting a stable 11% per month profit projection. Strong when looking at its achievement on actual balance which is bigger than most. But when tuned down to a sizeable 10k, not that impressive. But if you are to count on robot that makes you money according to your balance, this may be the one.

7. Jacaranda - Just 8% projected monthly profit

8. Amor - eventhough at only 5% pmp, it handles a 300k demo account. One of the new boys just 3 days old.

Those not mention are not chosen (at least right now) competing in the VPS section. Either they make insignificant profit or at the losing end.

Robots running under test in the desktop computer will be discussed in later postings.

My Forex Trading Concept

1. Test and choose the best robots to trade 24/5

2. Hold to "dont put all eggs in 1 basket"

3. I dont have the time or the right emotion to trade manually as the main method of trading

4. Have a strategy (or test some firsts before deriving one) in trading manually. Do it when you got the time

5. Trade by chosen robots on VPS.

6. Consistently fetch data (2 times a day) and check on their progress. 

7. Make your trading practices as your online banking source

8. Offer profitability to other people only when you yourself are making it via this concept  

Homemade robot - The Roulette2

This homemade Robot will make its way to the testing ground of Desktop come next week. The idea is not original as it is taken from the book of Roulette Trading. But some tweaking was made.
So lets discuss how potential this one will be.
It is best to trade this on the FXTM account where it has no commission per trade.
Of course, like any trades, you need some indicators that can ensure the longest winning sequence that it can. In R2 we require 5 straight wins which is not actually impossible. As the open trade will depend on what the indicators say, it could be B or S or a mixtures of both in any orders. Discussion on the indicators next time.
Lets discuss on the mechanism.

Unlike conventional trading we 'group' our trades into cycles. The winning cycle is 5 trades. Meaning that if it complete 5 trades in wins then it complete a cycle. The rule is win a trade and proceed to the next one. If loss, start all over again. Now what is the difference in each cycle ?

Well this is more or less like an anti martingle. In martingle, you double your lots on a losing trade just to make up the losing one. Like we all know the lost can be tremendous that it can blow the account and significantly reduce the account balance.

The TP and SL for each trade is 15 pips. It can be any amount but both must be in equal amount for this mathematics to work. Making it lesser may result in easy SL when price retrace.

The table shows how much the lots increase on each winning trade (doubler)

At any level when SL is hit the losses seem to increase. But if we take them as 'groups' it will always equal to -1.5. So at any level below level 5 with a loss, the 'accumulative' loss will still be -1.5.

If trading is done conventionally with 15pips as the target the total profit for 5 wins is 7.5. Small thing to shout about.

But what if the wins occur with the roulette increasing lots (double) of each level, the profit will be 620% than conventional or 46.5 !!

Lets face the fact that it is hard to get a perfect 5 wins in a row (not impossible but hard) and they will be losses along the way. Let it will take 31 group of trades of accumulative -1.5 loss to equal to 1 win !!! And that is quite unbelievable !!

 

 

 

 

 

 

2 accts open on VPS

Yes 2 more accts on FXTM were opened on VPS at 3.30am. Started with 10k USC they hosted Crazy Scalper and Jabrix 5.1 Ebay.
Also noted the seperation of Apex from Crazy Scalper. From the checking today, Crazy Scalper is actually performing better than Apex. Anyway its good to see how they perform now they are separated. Obviously CS has a better advantage as FXTM dont have commission.
As explained on Jabrix, lets see how its doing on FXTM without commission charges.

The workings of Jabrix

 Have tested Jabrix before but testing it on LiteForex failed in the end as the brokers commission kill its small profit. Now testing it again on Desktop acct 759.
It open many trades and close trades at mostly small profits. But when the price retrace it still hold to the losing trade and start open trades of the same position that was losing when about 30 pips to the trade that is losing. It has mm function.
I will again be serious with the Robot but with FXTM with no commission involved.
Also need to find if i can find its manual as the input has parameters of Scalp Factor and Sniper Factor (what are these ?)

Reviews of Robots on VPS

 

1. Al Fatih
Consistent always control and having RPL at 0. With the current setting expecting to get over $8k a month. Expected per month is 13% thou this data is debatable as it depends on what actually is the Balance amount. Is it overtrade or undertrade. So the optimum balance is imperative. BTW Fatih acct balance is 62k which possibly could be on the high side.
Lets do an experiment, we reduce the Bal to 10k (-52) and see how the account react. If its profit/day mantains at $419 (which it sis right now) then that is the ideal balance amount. Lets do this next week.

2. Jacaranda
This acct has the ideal $10k when it started with profit/day just at $36 and a target of just $729 for the month. That is only 7% profit per month. Robot not really that productive but still profitable. Just let it run longer and see as it is only 6 days old. As far as I am concern the balance is ideal. Remember if a robot runs on grid,hedge and or martingle then it is another different story.

3. GPSF
Performing something like Jacaranda results. Its balance at $8k is again considered ideal. Expected a small about $300 monthly profit  with daily return of only $16. Target monthly profit % is 4%
The robot was obtained FREE from a pasar malam website. It is an old version of the current one. Already14 days tested let it finish a month ore met is doom.

4. GTrade
This robot is the easiest to install and also see how its performing. Just install on 1 chart of 1 pair and it does the rest - open trades on various pairs. A full monitor display is how much its making for the day and whats the percentage. So easy.
Good news it is making good progress. No doubt the balance is over inflated at 300k! But its daily and expected monthly profit is $137 and $2.7k.  which is good to know. For next week, the balance need to reduced considerably say leave it $10k. And if its productivity remains the same then we can always have more GTrdade accounts  of $10k each. Let em run !

5. Meia4
One thing that is worrying about Meia is its high -RPL everytime. But maybe that should not be the case as it is not the Martingle or hedge kind. No doubt its controlling its RPL well. Last record its RPL is at -956. But this is not alarming knowing that its Balance is 24k. And it wont give you heart attack like Cap sometimes do.
But whats good is that its daily $192 and monthly expect of $3,836. And this after deducting the RPL from the formulae.
Only 8 days old so let it run longer. If it ever made to the real money account maintain the balance at $20k (in cents first of course)

6.Pukat Hanyut
Ok but not as good as its review were saying. Start balance just right at $10k. Daily $ of $73 and monthly target of $1.4k. In this case its project monthly profit% can also apply at 14% and daily of 0.69%. Already running for 15 days.
One thing to be cautious of Pukat Hanyut is that it has the element of hedging which can work against us. But lets observe how its holding on and produce.

7.Life Changer
This is one of the hopefuls that fail ! Last data shows a loss from start with Expt month at -38 and $dailyprofit of -2. All is caused by its -rpl of -18. Thou not that much but its so far small return put its achievement in red. Only 7 days old see how it goes. But if for next week it continue to dip in performance then Replace is the word.

8. Apex Crazy/Pro
This acct comprise of 2 robots. Thought of testing 2 of them together. Both have the characteristic of Scalping. Both of them seem to be performing postively with the current data making me want to have a closer look.
Fortunately the starting balance was 10k. The projection for monthly$ is 7k with daily profit of $352. But being only 4 days old could not verify the result fully. Looking forward how it performing and perhaps separating to 2 different accounts. Its month profit% prediction is 70% with daily 3.52%.
Anyway being only 4 days old cant say much now. One thing for sure being a scalper with no martingle ingredient we may be sure of not being plenty today and gone tomorrow.
Lets see how the days will treat both of them.

9.Winners FXPro
Taking over a $1Mil demo account now realising that its hard to check on what it has achieved or lost. Las time time the robot does not seem to close trades  now having 100 over trades opened and a -RPL of 115k ! Initially this robot was good but now its just a pain in the ass with -320k expected monthly loss and losing $16k a day. Of course the big demo balance figure play a part but it not closing trades is a no no. Will close the robot and the account  too.

Suspect if the acct is faulty or some settings preventing robots from opening trades? But Doubler X worked ok even with the tiny $6 profit.

7p Flex robot is suspended as there are no trades opened after 12 hrs eventhough have put presets for the trades. The inputs of the robot is also complicated and detailed. Should find the manual before trying the robot again.

Super Billion is dropped when no trades being open after nearly 4 hours of testing. Still available in the experts folder. Not classified as failure just that it fail to launch maybe waiting for some set ups during the day which we cant wait.
The famous and veteran Flex 4.9 replaces it.
4 pairs were traded using the 30m scalping presets mode. GU,EU,UCd, UCf
See if it lives up to its reputation.

This robot promise a lot.Trading is said to be on Swing Trade style. Open abt 7 pairs on 5TF. See how it perform. Spreadsheet included in package looks very impressive indeed. Luckily robot is able to be functioned thou not initially.

X Doubler - this robot dtect trend and trade with 2 modes 1. Open trades as long as the trend is going on or 2. Open only 1 trade per trend run.
Robot alos need authentication key which was included and can run the acct nicely.
Also it has many modification to the the adjustment and closing of lots when a trade open. Should read the manual that comes with it. Could be a good robot.

Now back in action with the death of Pip Killer. Open trades even at low balance. Acct top up 10k. See how far and how good it goes.

Tuner 2020  - Trading 4 pairs on 1 hr TF. Just installed and still no trades open yet. Very particular on dll being opened. It wants to be from the main desktop.  12/8 4.20a

Hard working robot making profits thou small. Seem to be very careful. Easy to see which pairs are winning or losing on the display of each chart. Also useful info like risk setting, lot size of s1 and s2.
So far I like it and it may join the Asemble but lets watch a little longer.

FX Stabilizer (continue watching)
Small +RPL of $26 out of $10k considered being too careful. Have not close any trades. Mixtures of the trades bring about the +RPL.On auto risk so it decides the lot to be at 0.05 for a 10k account. Will keep watching.

Unexpected reboot of VPS NeuPrime

 Luckily I was at the computer and noticed an email informing of the situation. The email was sent 41 mins before I read. On visiting the VPS as expected all the Trade acct were closed. Fortunately, they were fast and swift to open. Smoother than before. In fact this time the server looks much like a computer rather than a screen capture of a computer. 

So things got back right again in fact even better.

So what should be done ? or prepare for this to happen again hope not it happening.

1.Need to check the VPS every now and then. I know that some acct emails cannot operate. But have one sending every hour. So once an hourly email does not arrive we know something is wrong. Now is OK as they are all demos but what if they are real accounts ?

2. Check with vps admin if they can notify by whatsapp or phone text. This is better than email.

3.Have a script that record the server running last (maybe in the form of display) So that if something like this happen, I can visit and check whats wrong.

Assembling the Avengers

1.  All performance are studied either on demos/life vps or demos on desktop

2. Those graduated from the desktop will be placed with the vps

3. If success run continues, a small real account (possibly in cents) will be given. Possibly FXTM cents without the commission which considered imperative.

4. When on real monitor once a day (at least)

5. In the meantime tests of new candidates continues.
