Hedgy Modification - Hedger2

The problem with strategy like this is that the gap widens when it is trendy. It will be hard to gain much unless the price reverse and cross the last highest or lowest level again. If not one will be force profiting by the close trade of profiting for a set of time (4hrs previously). So this have been changed. Hear how hedgy (now version 2) will work from now on:-

Same like before

Open trade either buy or sell if there is no such trade (recently been closed)

This time ...

When open a new trade (say Buy) close half (50%) of the other trade

This would work this way

When open both are hedging say B:S 20:20

Say B is hit then S is closed by 1/2 and B is open again 20:10 Pr 20 loss-10

Forex Fury is back now with Version3

This came in a big way. Set it up on 8 pairs on FXTM demo in VPS with start account of $100,00.

With MM incremental lot on with a 20% risk it open a giant 50 lots per trade. Well this is experimental, in future would adjust the lot size manually. FXTM can add money for its demo account which is good.

Why chose FXTM as it dont have commission for each trades taken.

Here we go.

Broker FXTM

I already have an account with FXTM but no money and had done no trading yet. But now activating one with this broker seem important and necessary. At the moment I have some accounts trading like Jabrix on demo on the brokers demo account. Why its required as it dont charge commission (even for demo) on trades taken. Jabrix really need all it can get as it works on tiny winnings. What we see, It cant actually survive the total commission when trading with Liteforex which charge commission in its demo account. But not in its real cents account. Wonder why.

On top of that, FXTM can accept deposit through local bank with commission. To avoid any commission it accept withdrawal without commission with Netteller which account i have. But Netteller charge 1.45% as withdrawal fees. But worth exploring other means of withdrawal from FXTM with those with fixed USD withdrawal commission which we can live with if the withdrawal amount is big enough.

Sorry FXTM charge 1.5% for transfer to local banks

Well beside selling robots at dirt cheap prices, Captain EA is claimed to be locally made and it is a rainbow in the dark.

Since Jab shows much promise so far, will move it to VPS and trade bigger.

PFX Scalper looks struggling but maybe will turn out great

FXFury is showing its weakness when just a few losses eats the profit significantly. So keeping an eye to it. Maybe the range trading option should apply where it will go for trendy movement only or even trade a only one time a day? Worth exploring.

Overall this account is not making money where the winning after minusing the commission left with nothing much. Now how did cap manage to get over this?

How they fare so far

These robots are on test on the 476 acct. For the moment FXFury3 and PFX Scalper are working fine on VPS account whilst Jabrix is with notebook 476 which will be activated also on VPS at end of day.

FXFury

Restrict to trade only 1 trade per time. 24 hrs not default on 1hr a day. Profitting small due to the minimum lot of 0.01.

Runs on stop loss and break even. Losing trade as expected is big at 6x of winnings. No martingle, hedge or grid. Trading only on GBPUSD.

So far acc profit at 1.98, will increase lot to 0.1. Feel like a normal scalper this one.

At 2.30a down at -0.83

Jabrix

Just trading on AUDUSD at 0.01 lot per trade. Many small trades winning I think 97% ? Fantastic

Works well. If confirm good will purchase the real deal to trade on real money (try demo first).

Now at 1.83. Trade only 1 trade per time.

at 2.30am 2.72

PFX Scalper

Open 6 trades at a time. Comments on the trade makes it easier to track what trades number passed or failed. Lot still open at 0.01 but close can be rather big. Not all six trades close at any one time. Thing is for the trades that already closed will be replaced with a new one. So far it looks good and promising. Now closed trades at $4.02

Odin

1st 3 trades looks promising with all wins at $130+ profits with 0.1 lot per trade. Current 2 tradings looks edgy with running RPL close to -$600.

But cant complain on the good display and well presented of the selling.

Taken only 2 small trades today resulting $1 in profit.

Robotron

Thou the balance do not show an improvement the RPL does with big profit in the making. POTENTIAL this one.

Waiting for Execution

LiteforexReal has been holding on with very big RPL for sometime now since market open this week. Does not seem to be coming down as long the EURUSD is on the rise and USDJPY on the fall.

So what will happen to this Cap, only time will tell. Of course I will have to invoke "saving" the account when it dropped to 60 Margin%. Could top up with money and save the account like acct 138 (even after some closing of trades by its Cap) but would that be worth it. The question is what will it takes for Cap to survive ?

Like we mentioned time and time again, there are contingency plans to be undertaken if situation goes this way. But should we look the other way round or still follow the path that CapEA can produce wonders unlike other EAs/robots we have came across. But leave other options on the table, the quest for the right robot is still on. Not giving up on Caps even if it loose everything in this one, just that it needs to change its mindset and practice new norms instead.

The RPL is now getting very huge at -22k. The balance curve is seen to be flatten. The XM Real is however slow but stable. The culprit is EU keep on getting higher and higher.

The test of time lets see how Captain get out of this or go bust (pray not)

Philosophy in Forex

/Keep on earning real with LFR and XM (until their VPS expire)

/Expected worst case scenarios for Caps like the ones with some of the demos.

/Hopes that maybe only 1 purchase can only work on 1 real account as the admin reminded. So what the story behind LFR and XM both seem to be working.

/ Is it true that real accounts with Caps behave differently and better than demo account?

/ Still keep on searching for other robots especially those who are trading differently than Caps which is partly Martingle. Forex Steam from Greg Forex? of $8 is one good one. Perhaps keep on trying FXFury on demo (the version that i have) with its default settings of trading for 1 hour a day only. Set losses to only 1 trade per time? Yes like my concern, losing 1 will cost as much as 6 times winnings.

/ Keep on learning new manual strategies that could work even purchase indicators to assist. Scalping is still of interest to me and yet I am not able to suceed doing it. Forexroulete is of interest.

/ Keep on making own robots with FXDreema until its subs expire. Bring back stuffs I did tried before like Paroli money management along with Seq1 or emas1 robots which are not functioning.

GPS3ForexEA under consideration and research Buy or Not?

Stumble on this old EA being sold by a familiar name to me, Mike Larsen, after being directed by a website which do not recommend the robot I was looking for at that time.

The selling website is pretty impressive and kindda of trying to be honest on the history of the robot. ML was someone I came across quite a long time ago. Even this EA is not brand new and its now with its 3rd version.

Reasonably priced at $149 (claiming that it is a discount) decided to search for a free downloadable version of it on the net. A discounted one is also OK. Hard to find but found one which directed to the same website but an older version (just the name with no number in the end). Given away for FREE i decided to give it a try.

First I thought its not working as nothing was happening on the account it was parked. Then at just near the end of the trading day at 23.55 Server time it opens all pairs traded i.e. UCf,EGP and EU. Watching it trading (seem rather badly) I thought it was going to loose all trades. What a surprise the next day discovered that all trades had been closed with profits. Bravo !

Why I like was the creators honesty on how he build the EA with 2 russian programmers whose both had their accounts running and profited well. The monthly profit return is 30% as claimed.

Here are the goods and the bads listed:

Bad

/Thou claimed to be non martingle or hedges claiming the strategy by some other name, some review pointed out that it was after all martingle/hedges. And taking bigger lot in the opposite direction. I decided to check on one of the trades record linked from the website. Yes it is occurring.

/From myfxbook it shows less than 1% a month profit (with charts) so where is the over 30% result.

/Thou it says the price is discounted and offer is limited, it has been there for years ! So its an old EA

Good

/ Verified Real successful MYFXBook accounts. Link to the pages and still maintained not abandoned.

/ Many reviews. Mostly good and promising thou you cant believe all of them

/ Many excellent achievement like getting $3Mil from $1Mill account in 1 year ?

/ Little by little trading with as few as once a day (from the trading confirmation)

/ Affordable and with 60days money back guarantee with ClickBank

Give a week of testing and if good (thou its an old version which has seen much improvement) then proceed to the shopping cart and purchase if no new better ones discovered.

1st test UPS OK !

First power tripped during rain occurred a few minutes ago. Was able to go down and switch on the tripper.

However, as the situation is, somebody must be around to switch the tripper on within 4 minutes. Not good if I was sleeping. Thou it help in avoiding power spike when the power is back on, it helps a lot then the computers gone totally off and I have to activate back 8 MT4 accounts on the computers !

Test for UPS

Heavy rain is now falling. Time to test the newly arrived computer peripherals - the UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) which had arrived delivered by DHL yesterday. Already tested by switching the power supply off, it was able to hold power for 4 minutes only of 2 power sources - the desktop and acer laptop (no battery). I guess thats enough when the house power tripped sometimes so often during rains.

Its also serve as a current stabilizer protecting the machines. With 3 plug points , can cater the remaining 1 source for the modem and router (with adapter). Without usb computer checking facility, well this model dont have that (darn!). Misread the online catalogue. The setbacks of shopping online.

Sad but True -Captain EAs who fell today, but still fighting hard to sustain

The dreaded day finally came. This bitter taste was the same when Marti destroyed accounts not too long ago. But there is still hope with Caps as the real Caps are still functioning normally.

Here are the fallen demo Caps

MT186 - rec 4 pairs 1k

Started with 1k but then as trouble brewed upped by an additional 10k. Lasted for 36 days. Had reached 204 % profit before falling big. Though Cap managed to keep it still alive currently at about $20 left as balance. Doubtful if it can recover.

MT655 - rec 4 pairs 10k

Created and started running the same time with MT186 but bigger deposit at 10k. During tenure no additional deposit. Therefore also lasted 36days like its counterpart. It performed better at 343% in profit! Same fate when it fell fatally on the 37th day. Cap still sustaining account at $35. Like its counterpart doubtful that it can ever recover and possibly faced death anytime now.

MT434 - Full pairs started with 100k

Only lasted 9 days. But in that short span of time reached 66.84%.

Cap still holding at around $2.6k. Maybe it can turn the situation around or maybe not.

MT746 - Full pairs started deposit 100k parked on VPS. Reported by FXBlue

This is the only demo account that was running on VPS and reported by FXBlue under the name 4xforever. It was created to counter check on MT434 performance which was parked on local computer with the same initial deposit.

Its highest achievement was at 63.8% after 9 days before being thrashed to the pulp. Cap still holding and keeping the acct alive at $20. Just waiting to be totally murdered or fighting slow.

Conclusion is, both identical Mt4 performed similiar though on VPS and local computer

We salute the 4 caps who are still fighting to the end but with not much else to give. Thou the losses, we are happy and proud on how the Caps performed. We could have intervened by putting Cap to rest once in a while or reduce its balance perhaps by pulling off the profits. Or even stopping trading altogether when a sizable profit is reached for the month say 30%.

But life has got to go on. The experience will make us better prepare for the future. Not giving up but being reminded that the risks will be even greater if you are greedy and still aiming for the stars even after you have passed the moon.

The bigger they come .. the harder they wil fall ?

Now the question arised, If I cannot control the lot in terms of risk%, will Captain fought more on an account that is big as it gets say 300k ?

Well this account is now running on demo acct 082.

How will captain react at its default settings on a big account if i cant or dont know how to adjust its parameters ? If cap react normally, small trades even on a big account, then I must think of alternatives on how to trade big money rather than relying only on 1 account.

The results will come in every 4 hours. Wait for the findings.

Suddenly Captain is questionable

As of this moment quite a number of demo accounts are at the brink of meeting Margin Call% deprivation. Initially thought it was the alternative pairs giving the problem. That is not actually the case now as both 186 and 655 which are of the recommended pairs are facing the same problem. Whereelse and thank goodness it is not the case on the only 2 real account running i.e. LFReal and XMReal. Cant say that what with XMReal applies to LFReal as the later is run by our own VPS and least managed it is. So how come the dilemma is not occuring on the reals ? We know already on the carefulness of XM but thats not the case with LFReal.Its not even the question on the level of its balance where it is more or less the same with that of 655 which is also trading on the rec 4 pairs!

Is it that Real account Captain will perform better ? Which normally the case is the reverse - demo account perform better.

Anyway lets see how the various caps deal with high running PL. Like the 100k all pairs, thou it is losing plenty its actually losing the profit it made. And Caps do closed trades that are running into brick walls with bigger losses

The Alt pairs are really not mend to be Captained

That is some revelations where we were made aware by some of the accounts nearing Margin Call% trouble (below 60%). Some were really bad that I had to intervene. And the fact was that the troubled accounts are with Alt pairs either part or full !

Those with only the recommended pairs remain good and controllable. Also its worth noting that EURGBP is losing it with negative nett profit and profit factor below 1 (losing). This was reported by FXBlue demo vps. So what the admin says about Cap is now surely true.

Our LFReal FXBlue is doing fine with small RPL and had passed profit $13k ! Yesterday profit was above $1k (cents account) a day! Which is good.

The XMReal managed by Cap admin vps though like watching slow motion is actually making good but very, very slow progress. The reason is of course as it only runs on EURJPYmicro.

Heres the reviews of the troubling accounts

AltPairs 467

At about 3pm the RPL was notably high and M% was around 35%. So the plan was in cases like this then just pump money to sustain the account temporarily. Had pumped in 24k demo making the M% sustainable. Decided as the RPL was around -23k.

However on the recent checked at 9p the RPL gone up again from -17k to -29k with M% at 77% which is again worrying. So lets see how Cap will handle this. Remember 24k was needed to "sustain" the account. Its profit todate is only 11k.

Reducing RPL with no profit

This can be seen on some of the accounts runs by Caps. The prominient one 454 had a reduction of about 50% of 20k. Commendable and smart effort.
Thou the VPS demo closed through a "close when reach target profit" robot which it did close at 50k! New one downloaded this morning as my own did not work and SwishArmy knife also is not reliable. This one even have a nice and useful display on the chart. Still wondering what Cap would do in the circumstances the trades are running. At times it went down as below 30k in running PL. The decision was made to let it move on with new trades and new strategies. Nevertheless the closure was of 50k, who would complain on that !

Ready to close All on 100k VPS demo account

I dont know when Captain will rest any of the winning trades in 100k vps demo account. Times it had went as high as 52k yet to has came down to nearing 30k.

I have fixed Swish Army Knife EA ready to close all if it again reach 50k. Maybe next Monday.

Its not healthy as we know it every day the trades are carried forward they borne some commissions from the broker. And it is all not cheap considering the latest ones has got big lots.

The trading has been "dead" for sometime now. Why not as the open Buy and Sell trades has gone further and further apart. So lets be excited a bit.

Open 10 more trades on 10 different currency pairs and set the closing pips at 25 pips every hour. Now its worth to report every hour.

What is happening will be what will and can happen. Nothing to check as it happens and the nature of the hedging trading strategy.

138 A noted failing situation

When this acct was started the point was to see whether a 20k balance is sufficient to trade with a double start lot of 0.02. Trading with the usual recommend 4 curr pairs. Here are some discoveries

1. CEA cannot rectify a big RPL (doubling that of a 0.01lot with a 0.02lot). When the 0.01 had reached recovery the double account only reached half the mark. Its like how covid19 is in the USA. The decrease is not big enough to be considered as a "recovery". As a matter of fact, just like in USA, it is rising up again as the 1st wave was never dealth with.

2. A balance of 20k funding is insufficient to handle 4 pairs with 0.02 start lot. With 40k perhaps it can. But the issue in fact 1 will still be something to handle.

How they doing ?

As at the time of this posting

100k 10 pairs 434 is struggling with nearly half of its balance in RPL wondering if this strategy can work or not. Need to wait for the recovery or destruction. More to come. However its progress is more than sweet with 20k attained or 20% in 3 days !

20k Alt pairs This is performing good at the moment with 31% in 3 days and only -22 in RPL. Fantastic profit % too at 31% in 3 days ! Compare to its counter part 136 with the recommended pairs and at about the same amount of funding, they are not doing too well with small difference and a very big RPL of above 9k !

Another FX Blue activated

Watching the success of the other robot 100k demo account comprising of 9 pairs where it reaped in 10% profit in a single day made me to observe this phenomena seriously with the aid of FXBlue. So another FXBlue was created named "4xforever" and this one watching new 100k demo account 1003642746 on VPS !

So I ve decided to dropped the lazy XM trader on this vps. Its ok as its running on its admin VPS. Once in a while i can check with the mt4 acct or its web trader version.

With the fxBlue i can check the profit factor of the currency pairs traded. Todays result proven my hunch that all major pairs are good when they are in good mood. Even the recommended 4 may not be good all the time. The analysis tool in FXBlue like Profit factor can acertain the "profitability" of the pairs. If the event there are pairs that are losing that pair can be dropped from the list.

Margin Worrying

EURs is taking a beating when its 2 cps is diving down but Captain is hoping for a retrace.

For LFR the margin is still sustaining but the 138 demo account is nearing busting level due to its double lotting.

Reading from the group telegram there are quite a few achievement of 100% and 160% of account return in 1 month. One is even on a standard account. So its worth holding on the belief that CEA is the holy grail of me in trading forex. In fact all my plans would be an illusion if it fails (or giving up hope when i should not).

The picture may not be good for the Euros but see how CEA cushion its losses. What its hoping for is Retracement when it can apply break even on its layering effort. So far its not yet happening.

Anyway this is the time i can learn how Captain thinks and operate.

LF Real Migrated !

The issue, as just realized, of having an old account is that all past records would still be in place as part of its history. So it was with LFReal before. Having FXBlue implaced to monitor and reports its account may not be correct and accurate as it takes its past records all with it.

So I was waiting for the time when LFR is trading less or not trading at all so that I can transfer all its balance to a new virgin account which I just did.

The new MT4 sub account managed to get all its balance except for 0.91/100 cents ! The account 1031658 started fresh with cts35,531.00 with higher leverage of 1:500 compare to previous of only 1:200.

The records in the SSheet may continue as usual from the previous record. So does the Mt4 platform, just change the logging in.

The mark difference will be FXBlue where everything seem to be just starting.

Yes it may seem to be confusing. But from now on whatever figure is reported from FXBlue is true of CaptainEA.

2 Mt4s on VPS now seem OK

After tweaking the Mt4s - hiding irrelevant pairs data and how many bars and history it shows, the 2 Mt4s laginess seems gone. It operate smoothly without the feel of bloating.

Even working on chrome browser together does not effect the "smoothness" of the Mt4s.

Hopefully it will stay this way.
