5 hrs of trade gone unattended

There is a big problem with the Acer laptop cum main trading machine. It can be disconnected from the internet as it please (sure when something is not right). And it had done that for 5 hours today without me noticing. So we need some precaution to remind us that there is no trade due to disconnection and I must attend to it. So I am looking for that tool if any from the internet. Yes the MT4 can do it by alerting thru sms but that cant be done right now due to some technicalities.
